What is the Free Hugs ?
Free Hugs is a worldwide campaign which aims to spread love and inspire people to do the same. The hugs are meant to be random acts of kindness and selfless acts performed by a person for the sole reason of making others feel better.
When it is going to happen ?
It is going to happen right here at UNM !! On October 23, this Friday, from 3 to 5 pm in front of the Zimmerman Library, next to the SUB. If it rains, it is going to be held inside the SUB.
Who could join ?
Everyone can join and be a volunteer. We will place a pop up tent there, and we will have some t-shirts and give free soda. Anyone interested in giving free hugs just show up there and pick a sign written FREE HUGS and start hugging :-)
What will happen ?
The aim of the campaign is very simple: to distribute free hugs around the UNM Campus. Volunteers around the campus would give free hugs to anyone that wants, and try to get others to do the same. It would start with a few people and at the end we would have many people joining, having fun and doing the same. The sole reason is making others feel better.
